Nelson Cup hopes washed away
The Nelson Cup reverted to it’s traditional 3 team format but the skipper’s came up with an unusual rain effected schedule – alas no silverware for London Saints!
Cricket stories: Jack goes home!
London Saints’ favourite Aldershot fan, Andy ‘Jack’ Jones gave is all on the pitch for LSCC – and as it turned out, off it too!
LSCC off to a winner!
LSSC vs. Gents of West London
Gents – 146-6 35 overs (Nanton 3-28)
LSSC – 149-6 32.3 overs (Jack 51, Dunn 44, Paltrow 15)
A fine start to the season for London Saints CC who comfortably grabbed their first opening day win for 7 years.
Paul (Mildred) Pearce reports
‘Make ’em bacon sarnies and they will come!’
A superb game saw LSCC victorious in our first encounter with Roadrunners CC with 2 balls to spare. Trev and Tiger were the heroes but DJ managed to put a sour note on an otherwise superb day.
Roadrunners: 194-7 (Pearce 3-27)
LSCC: 198-3 (Mayhew 81)

Cricket lovely cricket!
There might be the little affair of Saints promotion battle on our minds at the moment but the current balmy weather inevitably draws many of us to the oncoming London Saints’ cricket season.
Here’s all the details.
The Summer’s coming!
Next Friday, 8th April, will see the London Saints Cricket team begin their pre-season training. It’s time for the annual dinner where some glittering prizes will be on offer. We will meet in a pub in Victoria before moving on to a Sri Lankan restaurant.
Just to get you in the mood, here’s DT review of the 2010 season.
Season ends with entertaining draw
London Saints CC’s traditional season ender at Ex-Blues ended in an entertaining draw and a barrel of beer in front of the footie!
Wath has Gents worried
Gents were cruising to victory but they hadn’t reckoned on The Wath’s unpredictable bowling. Unfortunately it was not to be but as ever, fun was had by all.
Prepare yourself – report by Trev!
Platt pip London Saints
In what is always a close game, London Saints lose – on the last ball of the day – against Platt CC in our annual double header 20/20 game
London Saints lose again – but no disgrace
The headline is the choice of match reporter Dave Nanton, and it’s appropriate. They were just a shade too strong for us
Wal’stow Horizontals 278-3 (Van Marle 1-35, Griffiths 1-26)
London Saints 201-8 (Walters 70, Barber 45) – 40 overs
