2013/14 Pool and Darts Tournament
Details for the FREE-TO-ENTER London Saints Pool and Darts tournament are being finalised. The tournament will take place on Friday 9th May, in the Victoria area.
Saints 4-2 Norwich City
Having earned an easy three-goal lead, Saints did their best to throw the game away late on, but eventually ran out 4-2 winners against a poor Norwich side.
Our story of the Half Marathon
Twelve London Saints cricketers took part and completed the Fleet Half Marathon to raise funds for the West Indian causes we are supporting on our tour of Trinidad and Tobago in May.
Crystal Palace 0-1 Saints
Saints got back to winning ways at Selhurst Park with a hard-fought win decided by Jay Rodriguez’s goal just before half-time.
Saints 0-3 Liverpool
Saints were handed a lesson in clinical finishing by Liverpool which sealed a third straight defeat.
West Ham 3-1 Saints
Saints took an early lead at Upton Park but a combination of dubious decisions by the officials and a failure to convert chances meant they ended up empty-handed against a resurgent West Ham side.
Sunderland 1-0 Saints
People of the belief that the point of professional sport is to win things have apparently misunderstood the situation. For the second time this season, Saints travelled to the Stadium of Light and effectively forfeited their place in a cup that was opening up nicely for them to mount a genuine challenge for, with a pathetic team selection and subsequent performance on Wearside.
Hull City 0-1 Saints
Jose Fonte’s goal – awarded via the Goal Decision System – in the second half ensured Saints left Humberside with all three points and a double over Hull City.
