Cricket lovely cricket!
There might be the little affair of Saints promotion battle on our minds at the moment but the current balmy weather inevitably draws many of us to the oncoming London Saints’ cricket season.
Here’s all the details.
Guly strike keeps Saints second
Saints 1, Bristol Rovers 0
Southampton’s persistence paid off with Guly Do Prado’s well taken goal winning the points. A much needed win with Huddersfield, Peterborough and MK Dons all winning.

Dale do the double
Rochdale 2, Saints 0
Southampton’s good run came to an end at Rochdale as the hosts completed the double over their visitors.
Saints up to second
Leyton Orient 0, Saints 2
A splendid result against a determined Orient side saw Saints move into second place with goals from Rickie Lambert and Lee Barnard.

Saints 2, Charton 0
Goals from Guly Do Prado and Lee Barnard kept Saints promotion push on track.
Supersub Forte sets up Saints
Saints 3, MK Dons 2
A second-half double from substitute Jonathan Forte helped Southampton come from two down to beat promotion rivals MK Dons 3-2 with Lee Barnard grabbing the winner.
The Summer’s coming!
Next Friday, 8th April, will see the London Saints Cricket team begin their pre-season training. It’s time for the annual dinner where some glittering prizes will be on offer. We will meet in a pub in Victoria before moving on to a Sri Lankan restaurant.

Frustration at The Valley
Charlton 1, Saints 1
Injuries to Lallana and Chamberlain added to the disapointment of dropping two points to a poor Charlton side. The frustration was increased on seeing the footage of Danny N’Guessen’s late effort as clearly onside.
