LSSC Golf Masters Trophy 2025 Report
The name of Peter ‘Rat’ Rattue is now engraved on the LSSC Golf Masters Trophy after his fine round of 35 Stableford points lead the way home on the eve of Saints last match in the Premiership for at least a season!

Actually, Rat came second after his fellow Salisburite, the man mysteriously known as ‘Psycho Bonge’, scored 39 points and claimed the Titleist hat – as he’s not an LSSC member, he can’t win our Masters!

The event was held at Southampton Sports Centre Golf Course and a great day was had by all – coffee & bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes on a lovely course followed by a tasty two-course meal, all for £45. Eleven golfers took part on a lovely, sunny day.
Organiser John Quinn, who came 5th on count back, said his commitments next year, when he becomes captain of Royal Winchester Golf Club, would preclude him from organising the LSSC golfing events and Peter ‘Rat’ Rattue gamely offered to take over the role.

Anton Tyrell’s 34 points secured him third spot on the day.
‘New boy’ Jeremy Bilham came 4th with 31 points.
