London Saints V Sunderland the Brown Bear 12th November – Lost 2 – 7 League 1
A good start to the season, L’il Harry carrying on where he finished last season winning us the team game with a double one! I followed that up by winning the trebles with a 26 check out (still our highest of the season 🤗) it went downhill from there, very fast, in fact so fast the pizzas 🍕 only just arrived before Sunderland wrapped up a 7-2 hammering. It was a stark reminder of the step up, I would estimate they got a treble 20 every 5 or 6 darts, and even though their finishing wasn’t top notch they were way better than us. Might have been different with Jenni and the Nice Pint there to put them off, but it wasn’t to be. On the plus side the pizza was delicious and plentiful and games finish earlier in the top division. Good luck all those playing tomorrow, and good luck to Andy and Simon representing us in the APCIL knock out next week. Keep the faith 😇
