End of Season Stats
Once again a season of two coaches, and very much one of two halves in terms of both results and performances. The Man of the Match analyses seem to reflect that, with Lemina scoring well under Mark Hughes (but then he was injured, of course), while six of Redmond’s successes and all of Ward-Prowse’s and Valery’s were only won under current leadership (Valery just playing Ralph-ball anyway) and, surprisingly, Højbjerg only won under Hughes. You could say that Bertrand and Long were the most consistent with awards spread across the campaign, but consistency has never been a feature of Shane’s contributions.
