Golf – ‘Rat’ is Open champ!
In a day of impressive scoring, Pete Rattue took home the Open trophy having scored 39 points playing off a handicap of 7.
Paulton’s Golf Centre near Romsey proved to be an excellent venue, particularly as the course had been set up for a local PGA event played in front of us. Despite tricky pin positions and firm greens, the overall scoring was higher than in any previous London Saints event.

Despite a dodgy swing, Nick Bergman finished runner-up with 37 followed by the 2008 winner, Sheena Quinn on 36.

John Quinn picked up the ‘nearest the pin’ prize which gave him a new friend – at last! Guest, Adrian Matthews, won the longest drive.
