London Saints Open Golf Tournament
Sunday 21st May at Southampton City Golf Course
The venue is the same as the last two years, the old ‘Muni’ at the Sports Centre, which is currently in very good condition due to the relative lack of rain this year.
And the start is early, first tee time is 8.30am, allowing everyone lots of time to have a bite, pint and the presentations after their round and enough time to get to St Mary’s for the last game of the season, the 3pm KO against Stoke.
It promises to be an excellent day on a lovely course and we already are into double figures with players of all standards keen to play.
The emphasis is very much on enjoyment, so don’t worry if your swing is a bit rusty of your putting more Geoff Capes than Tiger’s, you will be made very welcome.
The full cost is yet to be confirmed but I would expect it to be about the same as last year, around the £38 mark and that includes 18 holes of golf, a bacon roll and tea before the round, and a light lunch after of ham, egg and chips, afterwards. A cost of a buggy is £15, normally shareable between two.
Please email me at email@example.com if you would like to play or need more information. And it is our ‘Open’ competition, so feel free to invite friends or family!
