Sorry for the immense delay in responding but I have now at last got some photos for you. Hope you enjoy them. We have now got the first group of young boys signed up for cricket nets on a regular basis and are approaching another school nearby to set up a second group. They really enjoy wearing all the proper (Hampshire) kit although we still only have one helmet so we have been operating with one net using the leather ball and one with a softball (hence only one of the two mats being installed to date).
I have ordered two more helmets from a sports shop in Colombo so we can do proper cricket in both nets as from next week. I have given all the boys in the initial batch their own sets of 'whites' which they wear
with great pride.
We have a lot of both batting and bowling talent to work with and of course, massive enthusiasm. I will post these new photos on the website in the next few days.
