London Saints pool team defeated Rotherham by a score of 6 frames to 0 (the doubles matches were not contested) to take the APFSCIL trophy.
Billy Bradford, Dave Mason, Pete Berkeley, Tom Henson, Colin Riley and skipper Reggie Betts each won their single legs with Colin's the clincher (leaving no pressure on the skipper who had put himself out of the firing line). The match was closer than the scoreline suggests with all frames closely contested but the better team won.
