London Saints 5, London Baggies 3

A fine performance from the lads against a very dour West Brom team saw wins from Postie Dave, Colin and Lester in the singles. Victories in the doubles by Psycho Garry and Trigger left Colin and Dave to clinch the APSCIL Pool Cup for the 1st time. Reg, Keith and Billy all lost extremely close matches but should all have gained from the experience and have no trouble getting out of snookers in the future having spent their entire frames, getting out of one snooker after another, after another………..

It was good to see Postie Dave back in the frame and he had to be at his brilliant best to win his singles and Colin also had one of his better days. Lester comfortably won his frame and special mention to Psycho and Trigger for showing the Captain how wrong he was in dropping (or resting) them in the singles with a fine win in the 1st doubles frame setting up Colin and Dave to finish them off in the next frame.

A good turn out of Saints supporters turned out to support the team and help make it a memorable evening.
