Let's hear it for the girl!

Let's hear it for the girl!

Sheena Quinn’s relaxed swing and canny short game was too much for her opponents as she scored an impressive 40 points to take the London Saints Golf Open at Paultons Golf Centre on Saturday.

Sheena, obviously immune to husband John’s incessant chatter, ignored his ramblings through her backswing to cruise to victory.

Pre-tournament favourite, Pete Rattue, finished runner-up with 36 with fellow Salisbury boy Terry Manning taking third with 34.

Pete Berkeley won ‘longest drive’ by a country mile while Steve Johnson used his one good shot of the day to secure the ‘nearest the pin’ trophy.
