You've no doubt read about the Christmas Day football match that took place during World War One between warring British and German soldiers in the trenches.
In a similar vein, a pool match has been arranged between London Saints and London Pompey supporters. The event will take place on Tuesday the 21st of November at The Royal Star in Old Street.
We could do with extra pool and darts players (particularly good ones), so please contact Ray Betts at Ray.Betts@hfis.co.uk or any other committee member if you are up for it.
On the longer term, it is hoped that this will become a regular event with maybe even a 'Ryder Cup' style golf event rumoured.
