The darts team continues it renaissance of the last year or so and we find ourselves in the position of having a 100 per cent record half way through the season (played 4, won 4).
Victory last night over a strong Burnley side in a 7-4 thriller, in which we recovered from being 0-2 down, followed a win over our good darting friends Blackpool. The team of Gareth, Gavin's W & B, Simon, Neil and Nick even managed to nick the all important "Beer leg" at the end (well played chaps as the Guinness was £3 a pint!).
However it's going to be difficult from here on in as the team has lost one of it's finest players in Steve House, who will be in Australia for the next 3 months and of course the outgoing Captain, Gavin Wingfield, who is going to live in Australia permanently from the middle of April. It's not all doom and gloom though if the performances in the Burnley match of Neil and Nick are anything to go by!!!!!, well played to the two men of the match.
If any former darts stars from the London Saints past (Charlie, James, Colin, Gary B?), or indeed any new budding talents fancy helping us to try and make it 5 wins in 5, our next match is pencilled in against Chester.
