After the West Eleven game, 553 points have been scored from nine games, at an average of 61.5 pts per game. There are 4 games to go (now only three: Ed), so if the average is maintained the score will be 799 points - but remember some are based on season long achievements:
50 pts each for a Saints Fan being top wicket taker, run scorer, or catch taker. At the moment Pete is top of the wickets with a healthy lead, Trev is top runscorer with Pete only a handful behind, and Little John is top catcher with a couple of Saints fans breathing down his neck.
So, as of today 50pts, but runs and catches are tight.
25pts for each of Speedy, Neil, Paul, and Pete going duckless for the season (min 5 matches). So far Speedy and Paulie have ducked out, but Pete and Neil are still going strong with 4 games to go. Neil has only played 3 times, so needs to get a couple more duckless games in.
So as it stands 50 pts.
50pts for each player with a full monty season - 10 w, 150 r, 3 c
Pete is the only likely candidate, he has already achieved batting and bowling, but only has 1 catch so far. So to date 0 pts
100pts more wins than loses - to get this we need to win all 4 of our remaining games ; so 50/50 chance in my book. Despite my optimism, at the moment 0pts
A reminder of player predictions:
Entrant Prediction
Steve Cotton 750
Steve Keenan 999
Trev 921
Pete 1310
Paulie P 790
Johnny G 795
Speedtwin 791
DT 815
Psycho 844
Andy M 900
So, if you took my earlier very unscientific estimate of 799pts from the points allocated per game, and added on the points as they currently stand for the season long achievements, the score would be 899pts and we will be sending out a cheque in Yen to Andy in Tokyo. Unfortunately for Andy, I put in his £10 at the start and he owes me for a couple of other things I have paid for him since he has been away, so he has no hopes of seeing any of the money.
