West XI: 73 all out & 175-7
LSSC: 138-8 & 86 all out

A familiar story of poor fielding and a batting collapse saw London Saints snatch defeat from certain victory in this double 20/20 match. West XI’s strong batting saw them home in the 2nd innings to take back the Nelson Cup.

London Saints CC’s dismal start to the cricket season continued at the hands of Cincinatti CC. Poor batting resulted in a heavy defeat in what should have been a 40 over match in perfect weather.
We were more competitive in the 10 over beer slog but lost that too.

Gents of West London appear to improve every year - not sure if the same can be said for the LSSC veterans.
Hostile bowling on a lively pitch proved to much for the London Saints batsmen following a respectable display with the ball.
