Nelson Cup goes West - again!
LSSC vs. West XI
At Old Haberdashers’ Cricket Club, Elstree, 6th June 2010
Two Innings’ Twenty Twenty Match for the Nelson Cup
It’s fortunate that we are playing amongst ourselves at Lords as current form leaves much to be desired as we failed to retrieve the Nelson Cup. An enjoyable day nonethleless, helped by the lack of rain – let’s hope for same on Friday!

All tied up!
Jack Nicholson lookalike, Andy Jones, is an editor for a national newspaper. So he's used to copy deadlines and pressure. London Saints CC held their final game of 2009 at ex-Blues on September 4th and Andy promised a match report to LSSC's web office the next day.
3 weeks later - here's the much anticipated muses of Jonesy!

What have Gavin ‘Freddie’ Wingfield and Ricky Ponting got in common?

Not much except that they are both due to fly back to Aus with the taste of defeat in their mouths. Here are the thoughts of Freddie having contributed to LSCC’s latest collapse.

LSCC: 112 all out (Grimes 34, Berkeley 25)
Gents: 113 for 5 (F.Quinn 2-24, Keenan 2-24)
