The London Saints player's night was a tremendous success as Jan Poortvliet bought along the Saints squad and management team to meet the supporters.
The majority of the squad that represented Saints at Charlton were there and they spent time chatting, signing autographs and posing for photographs. At times things were a little chaotic as the turn out from 'members' was more than expected but the squad coped well as they mingled with the fans.
The Cutty Sark in Greenwich made for a superb venue and our hosts looked after us extremely well and laid on a magnificent buffet.
Having stayed for a couple of hours, the team bid their farewells after a brief thank-you speech from Jan Poortvliet, he promised three points against Sheffield Wednesday, before setting off in search of their coach.
The evening was rounded off by a raffle with many Saints related prizes taken off home.
