Salz in advisory role

Anthony Salz is using his vast City contacts to put potential investors in touch with Saints football board chairman Leon Crouch, not part of an investment group himself.

Crouch and fellow PLC board non-executive director Patrick Trant have been meeting several parties in recent weeks. But no one is believed to be close to putting in an offer for the club.

Saints only released their Stock Market statement earlier this week after financial advisors Seymour Pierce had asked them to.
