Saints v Eagles at home first game

So Saints face Palace at St Marys in the first match on August 11. Other significant dates include Boxing Day at Colchester (festive cheer at The Fat Cat).

Scunnie away is Feb 23 shortly followed by Reggie's jolly boys trip to Blackpool (Mar 8). The run-in could be interesting with a trip to West Brom followed by the final game at home to Sheffield United (assuming the European Court of human rights tells them to stop whinging)!

Whatever happened to the time honoured routine of home game, away game, home game, etc? In September, we've two away games (at QPR and Watford) followed by two home games to Colchester and Barnsley.

Unfortunately, as in season 05/06 some of the potentially more enjoyable away trips are midweek such as Preston, Bristol City, Ipswich and Wolves. You've no doubt already seen these but click on the official website link for a full list of the dates.
