Saints sign Perry and Holmes

Friday, June 6, 2008

SAINTS have announced two signings with Chris Perry coming from Luton and winger Lee Holmes heading to St Marys having been released by Derby County.

Chris Perry impressed with Saints when on loan towards the end of last season and will add invaluable experience in what will no doubt prove to be a young side.

21 year old left Midfielder, Holmes, started his career with Derby and became their youngest ever player and youngest ever goalscorer. He has played for England under 19’s, scoring in their 3–1 defeat to France in the 2005 European Championships. He has also had loan spells with Swindon, Bradford and Walsall.
