Rasiak rates his chances of leaving as 50/50

The powerful striker, who will turn 29 on Saturday, has fallen behind Bradley Wright-Phillips and Stern John in the pecking order and has been consigned to the bench.

However, Rasiak insists that he will only leave if an offer comes in that is right for both him and the club.

Rasiak said: "First of all Southampton should receive a satisfactory offer in order to let me go.

"Clubs from Italy and Spain are interested in signing me but they are not willing to pay £2 million for the transfer. (Southampton manager) George Burley will not sell me cheaper.

"If Southampton allow me to leave I will have no problem agreeing personal terms with a new club. For the moment I estimate my chances of leaving the club as 50/50," Rasiak, who has been recently linked with a move to Serie A club Reginna, told Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza.

"I have asked the coach a couple of times why I am relegated to a reserve role but have not received a logical answer. We have different points of view on some issues. I can accept if he uses rotation as we have a lot of games 46 in the Championship plus the FA Cup and the League Cup. However, I have lost my starting place."

Rasiak is desperate to play regular club football from now until the end of the season as he aims to make the Poland squad for the EURO 2008, where his country is grouped with Austria, Germany and Croatia.
