Rasiak joins Bolton

Gregorsz Rasiak has joined Bolton Wanderers on a loan deal until the end of the season with a view to a permament deal.

Rasiak sees the deal as a chance of improving his standing in the Polish national squad ahead of the European Championships.

Saints will obviously look on it as a way of reducing the wage bill with Marek Saganowski eager to step in.

Meanwhile, Andrew Surman is in the English under 21 squad for next Tuesday's European Championship qualifier against Ireland at St Marys.
