Mick Strickland has been voted Saints Supporter of the season.
Mick received the award from Andrew Davies at last night's sponsor's dinner where he was guest of honour along with joint runner's up, Jenny Hearnden and Joe McIndoe.
Mick, who has not missed a Saints game in some 25 years commented, "I thought the whole night was great. I was very surprised to win and I think it is nice that the club recognises it's supporters as well as the players. It was a fantastice evening and I hope I can come back next year."
There were several other awards on the night-
Best goal: Stern John (v Stoke away)
Flybe player of the season: Andrew Davies
Player's player of the season: Stern John
Most improved player: Mario Licka
Academy player of the season: Matthew Paterson
Saints in the community award: Kelvin Davis
The evening was rounded off with Nigel Pearson paying tribute to Claus Lundekvam and an emotional response from the big Norwegian who has retired from the game.
