David McGoldrick has completed his transfer to Nottingham Forest today, after Saints "reluctantly" agreed to let him go.
Saints will receive an undisclosed seven-figure sum for the 21-year-old, who was the club's top scorer last season.
Forest have been pursuing McGoldrick since the end of last season and had put in a bid of £1m for the striker and have been waiting for the last few weeks to hear the result of their offer.
McGoldrick, who began his career at Notts County, has signed a four-year deal at the City Ground.
