As promised in a meeting between LSSC and David Luker, head of supporter services, late last year, Saints are slashing season ticket prices for 2007-08 - regardless of what division they are in.
In line with their Football First philosophy, the Club have today announced sweeping price cuts and a complete revamp of their pricing structure.
The main points include:
*Huge savings for current season ticket holders who renew before the end of March
*Up to the end of May, prices will be the same regardless of which division Southampton are in.
*For the first time, junior prices now apply up to and including 16 instead of up to 12
*Fans now qualify for the senior rate at 60 instead of 65
*A new student price has been introduced for those in full-time education
*For the first time, we are allowing non-existing season ticket holders to buy during the first renewal period at a discount rate
*Supporters now have the chance to spread payments via our credit plan from the start of season ticket sales. There are two repayment options - six months interest-free or over eight months with interest pegged at 5.3% APR.
Commercial director Andy Oldknow said: "We want to reward the loyal supporters who have stood by us, we want to encourage fans who used to watch us to come back again, and we want to attract those who have never been to the ground before.
"We have listened intently to what our supporters have told us about the season ticket prices, and we feel sure we will be putting a structure in place that means as many fans as possible can get to watch the team.
"We know the benefits that a full and loud stadium can have on the team".
The March madness savings mean current season ticket holders who renew next month can get an adult season ticket from just £370 which would be phenomenal value for the Premiership.
It works out at less than £20 a game in the Premier League and £16 a match in the Coca-Cola Championship. Click here to compare how much you save against matchday prices.
If Saints win promotion, their prices will be among the lowest in the Premiership at a time when there is growing concern that fans are being priced out of top flight football.
A child's season ticket can be bought for as little as £140. That's just £7 a game in the top flight or £6 at the current level.

CLUB 2001
Saints are setting up Club 2001 for those who have been season ticket holders ever since the move to St Mary's in 2001 - but including those who did not renew last year on principle following relegation but who have signed up again this season.
Club 2001 is free to join and members will be eligible for extra selected benefits such as targeted discount events within the Megastore - and they will also be entered into a draw to speak to George Burley after a selected home fixture next season.
