Lowe steps up his bid

Rupert Lowe is on the verge of a return to the club according to Radio Solent.

He has given the current board until Monday to step down or he will call an Extraordinary General meeting.

Lowe has joined forces with another ex-chairman in Michael Wilde and the two now control nearly half the share count of the south-coast outfit.

As yet there has been no comment from the club on this latest development.

It is also understood that all the current board have been asked to resign with the exception of long-serving finance chief David Jones.
