Crouch reinstated as Chairman

Thursday, December 20, 2007

Leon Crouch was kicked off the football board by the Executive Directors back in the Summer but following the resignations of Jim Hone, Ken Dulieu and Andy Oldknow Crouch has been given his former title back.

He rejoins Lawrie McMenemy, Mary Corbett, Lee Hoos and David Jones on the football board.

Crouch said: "I'm delighted to accept this position.

"We had a good constructive (PLC) board meeting yesterday and we have identified the best way forward for the club."

Hoos is going to stay at the club as Hone's replacement as chief executive with Crouch spearheading the search for a new "high powered" PLC chairman.
