Burley signs Liverpool youngster on loan

20 year old creative midfielder Danny Guthrie has signed for Saints until March 31 and will go straight into the squad for Monday's crunch game at Preston.

He has had limited first team experience at Anfield and Burley pounced when Liverpool made it known that they were looking to loan him to a Championship club.

Burley said, "He is a creative player who is not afraid to get stuck in. He is young and hungry and this an ideal chance for him to gain experience".
