Saints have sold Pele for a reported £1million to West Bromwich Albion.
But that might not be an end to the selling judging by George Burley's comments regarding Kenwyne Jones.
"We've got to look at things. We can't say no to offers willy-nilly, because we're not in a position financially to do that," Burley told BBC Radio Solent.
"We're not going to accept offers which we feel are not the correct value."
Burley added: "Kenwyne is not any different to any other player, it would be nice to say no, no, no. But we've got to look at other areas we need to strengthen. Kenwyne Jones though is a player I would like to keep.
"The offer Derby have made hasn't been accepted. I'm not quoting any figures in that regard."
