Present day, in a galaxy very much like our own, the war continues to rage seemingly endlessly in the battle against muscle disease. Cruellest of all is Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and the unrelenting search for breakthrough treatment gathers momentum with only time and funds the greatest obstacles to success!
Step forward an unlikely ‘hero’ – Steve Moran - an overweight, 50-year-old ex-professional footballer with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholestrol and the occasional bout of gout!! His quest simply to raise as much money and awareness as is humanly possible for a cause so close to his heart.
