Book now for the crunch games
Message from Terry Trevis, match ticket co-ordinator for London Saints. All LSSC members can book tickets through Terry - contact him on t.trevis@talk21.com
After the Forest game (on January 14), our next three away league games are as follows:
Feb 4 - Birmingham
Although a big match this is a 5.20 KO with game live on SKY, tickets will be easy to get for this game.
But I would anticipate that both the other games will be very popular
Feb 14 - West Ham
This game on Tuesday Feb 14th is one of the biggest of the season, I think Saints can get up to 3,000 tickets. PLEASE BOOK BY JAN 18
Feb 25 - Watford
Watford games are normally well attended and recently they have been restricting away teams such as Leeds and Palace to just over 2000 tickets, even though they gave West Ham 4,000 + earlier in the season.
So could you please make me aware of the tickets you'd like for these games ASAP.
NB - If tickets allocated to London Saints are restricted, tickets to members will be allocated on the basis of the number of games attended so far this season.
RAIL UPDATE
HULL - Tuesday 20 March
I cannot get anything less than the bargain Advance fares currently showing on the National website (thanks for the alert Terry), writes Mick Strickland.
Currently, fares are showing around £10/£11 single (K. Cross/Hull) and £10/£11.25 on the return on Wednesday 21 March.
Outward lunchtime trains are 1305 (Hull 1555) and 1335 (Hull 1608) off K. Cross with a change at Doncaster or if you want to go earlier, Hull Trains have a direct service at 1148 (Hull 1419).
On the return (Wednesday) there is a 0956 with a change at Doncaster (London 1301) or a direct 1030 Hull Trains service (London 1310).
BLACKPOOL - Saturday 31 March - kick off 5.25.
Not initial good news with Virgin. All trains from the 0830 to 1230 inclusive are £46.00 just to Preston - one way. Return fare on Sunday 1st. April not yet available. I will have a look at options, if there are any!
NB: BIRMINGHAM
I do have on hold a group trip on the 1203 out of Euston and the 2010 back from Birmingham at a cost of £16 return (Virgin both ways). But we may struggle to get the required 10 for the trip and I would not put off people from booking the very cheap Advance fares currently available with Virgin now (you can currently get out and back for £15).
