Come play (golf) with the ex-Saints
Ladies, Gents and fellow Golfers
A very special London Masters has been planned as part of this year’s London Saints’ Supporters Cub 40th Anniversary celebrations:
- Ex-Saints players attending, certainly one ex-Saints golfer will play with each group;
- New venue with a great course and excellent restaurant,
- On the edge of the New Forest and looking out over Southampton Water;
- Bacon butties on arrival and a two course dinner post match;
- Excellent prizes awarded after the dinner.
Three ex-Saints players have confirmed their attendance – Nicky Banger, Reuben Agboola and Manny Andruszewski – and we’re expecting a fourth to join.
And all for the remarkably good price of £45 a head. This is a slight rise on previous years but does include the dinner and a little hospitality for the ex-Saints players.
As usual the Masters will take place on the Saturday before the last home game of the season.
Arrive from 1pm on Saturday, 12th May at Dibden Golf Course near Southampton, for tea, coffee and a bacon bap.
Tee times from 2pm for 18 holes on this lovely, friendly course – the 18th is a cracker!
Followed by a two course dinner in the modern club house and the award of the LSSC Masters Trophy for 2018 plus several other prizes.
And then enjoy the night before watching Saints avoid relegation the next day by knocking the stuffing out of Man City!
We are keen to show our support of the ex-Saints players turning out for the LSSC, so a great turnout of golfers of all standards would be appreciated, and please invite friends and family along!
